Maeve completed her 200-hour yoga training at West Hartford Yoga in West Hartford, Connecticut, and became a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance in 2009. In 2014, she also became a Certified Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery) Instructor. Now an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200), Maeve specializes in yoga classes and wellness workshops for groups of all sizes.
Prior to moving to Vermont, she taught at various studios, gyms, and universities & colleges in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She currently offers vinyasa classes and workshops at Mighty Yoga, the Woodstock Inn & Resort Athletic Club, and Twin Farms, as well as Yoga of 12-Step Recovery classes at Groups, Upper Valley Turning Point, and Kilton Public Library. In 2018, Maeve also collaborated with Flyway Wellness to design a deck of yoga cards to help people in recovery.
Maeve strives to help people not only understand and heal their bodies, but also become aware of their thoughts, habits, and patterns. She conveys how developing self-awareness through the practice of yoga and meditation can guide us toward a more peaceful, loving, and fulfilling life.
